What your customers get

Most rental sites stop at a phone number and a contact form. This one takes the booking.

Dates

A calendar that knows what is booked

Pick the day it goes out and the day it comes back. Days already spoken for are marked, so nobody books a machine that is sitting on another job.

Price

The real number, before they commit

Day, week and month rates on every item. The total works itself out from the dates and times chosen, including the cheapest combination of rates.

Delivery

Priced by the mile from your yard

They type the address, the site works out the distance and adds the charge. You set the rate per mile, any free miles, and a minimum.

Attachments

Only what actually fits

Buckets, breakers, augers and forks are matched to machines by coupler class, so an excavator page never suggests a skid steer attachment.

Phones

Built for someone standing in a jobsite

The whole site works on a phone, including the calendar and the checkout. Text is sized to be read outdoors in a hurry.

Payment

A hold on the card, not a charge

Stripe places an authorization when the job is booked. You capture it when the machine leaves the yard and settle up when it comes back.

The home page leads with the machines rented most often, each with its day, week and month rate.

The back office

The half your customers never see. It is where the yard actually runs.

A run sheet the driver can work from

Dispatch shows what goes out and what comes back on any given day, with the time, the delivery address, the mileage, and the serial numbers of the exact units going on the truck.

  • Deliveries and collections separated, in time order
  • Total miles for the day, so you can plan the route
  • Every line ties back to the order it came from

Phone and email orders go in the same book

Someone calls. You write the job up at the counter: pick the customer or type a new one, set the dates, choose pickup or delivery, add the machines. The price updates as you go and it books against the same availability the website uses, so the two can never disagree.

  • Save it as a quote or book it outright
  • Refuses to book over a machine that is already out
  • Delivery priced from the address as you type it

You own the catalog

Add categories, add machines, set rates, retire a unit that has gone to auction. Link an attachment to the machines it fits. Log a repair and the item drops out of availability for as long as it is down. No support ticket, no waiting on us.

  • Serial-tracked machines or plain quantity stock
  • Photos uploaded from your phone or laptop
  • Rates, delivery charge, waiver and tax all set by you

One price, paid once a year

No per booking fee, no charge per machine, no separate bill for hosting.

Everything included
$2,400per year

Works out to $200 a month, billed annually.

  • The customer-facing rental website
  • The full back office: orders, dispatch, catalog, machines, service, customers
  • Your own domain, hosting and certificate
  • Your catalog loaded in for you before you go live
  • Stripe connected to your own account, so payouts come straight to you
  • Updates and fixes for as long as you are a customer
  • Your data exported to a plain file whenever you ask

Nothing is charged here. You pick your domain, we confirm it is yours, then we invoice. Card processing on your own rentals is billed by Stripe at their published rate and we add nothing on top.

Questions

How long until we are live?

Send a list of your equipment with rates and it is usually ready to look at within a week. Going live after that is a matter of pointing your domain at it, which takes an afternoon.

Do we have to move off our current website?

No. Plenty of yards keep their existing site for the about and contact pages and send people here to book, usually from a Rent Equipment button. It can also run on a subdomain such as rent.yourcompany.com.

Who holds the money?

You do. Payments run through your own Stripe account and land in your bank. We never touch the funds and never see a card number, which is also what keeps your compliance burden small.

What if a machine breaks down mid rental?

Log it as a work order and mark it hard down. The item comes out of availability for those dates immediately, so the website will not rent it out from under you while it is in the shop.

Can we still take orders over the phone?

Yes, and most yards do. There is a counter form in the back office for writing up a call or an email. It books against the same availability as the website, so the two cannot get out of step.

Do you charge per machine or per booking?

No. Load in five machines or five hundred, take ten bookings a year or ten thousand. The price is the same.

What happens if we stop paying?

We export your customers, orders and catalog to plain files and hand them to you. There is no lock-in clause and nothing is held hostage.

Can we see it with our own equipment in it?

Yes. Send a rate sheet through the form below and we will load a sample of your real inventory into a private copy so you can judge it on your own machines rather than ours.
